With my new exploration into digital watercolor, I wanted to create a series of something to get me doign more and more digital watercolors on a more regualr basis. I cam up with the idea of the #BeforeBasketballWasBad project while reflecting on my disdain for current NBA standards. When I was growing up I used to love NBA on the weekends. I'm not sure what changed - if it was the atmosphere, the lack of good defense or 'characters,' but basketball today is not the basketball I grew up watching. Charles Barkley was my first victim, because after gathering 20-some players from the 90's his name was alphabeticaly at the top of the list.
